Controling PC with IR and Girder

I followed a link posted some time ago on this group

I made the circuit for a couple of pound and it controls Winamp &
Musicmatch a treat. I had some extra thoughts on building the device
and
distributing the signal via CAT5, I have taken some pictures and put
them on my humble website ?
