Reminds me of a similar incident when I used to drive a triumph aclaim. It
was parked on the parents driveway, with the drivers door next to the
side/main door of the house.

Some theif tried to prise the lock on the passenger side, only succeding in
denting the door (might have been scared off)

Thing is if he'd gone to the drivers side, he could have stuck his finger
through the hole where the lock barrel was supposed to be and just flicked
the latch bar up :-)
