As someone that has to deal with this on a weekly basis, the to: field
is not suitable for deciding what mailbox a message goes into. You need
the smtp information.

_some_ smtp servers will put the to: into another field in the message,
like Delivered-To:. Others will put it in the Recieved: headers in the
format Recieved: from mail.xyz.com by mail.abc.com for blah@xxxxxxx
But if you get neither, and its addressed to one person and BCC'd to
you, your mail server will not know what to do with it and just stick it
in a generic mailbox, or worse, bounce it.

If you need SMTP, get SMTP set up. Much cleaner to work with and there
is no "polling" for messages to cause delays.
