I'm
not sure about ADSL route. I have ADSL modem and then it's simple. I'm
doing it
using ICS (internet connection sharing). Just enable sharing on your dial
up
connection (on server with modem)
All
the clients (laptop) must have "obtain IP address from DHCP server) and as
a DNS
server you put DNS servers of your ISP (BT probably).
With
the router, I think it should be even simpler. You should put as a default
gateway router's IP address.
Cheers,
Nik
Hi Mark and
Nik,
Many thanks for the responses. Not sure if you saw my follow on
message which explained a bit more about what I am trying to
achieve.

I
am not interested in being able to access my home network from the
laptops
or laptops from the home network. What I need is to be able to connect
the
whole lot to the Internet using one router.
Unless that is there is
a
way of connecting more than one router to an adsl
line?

a _workgroup_ called something different from the name of your work
domain. Then resign yourself to the fact that full browsing will take
about 24 minutes to work from cold when you bring the laptop home. (I
used
to understand why - all I can remember now is that it's to do with a
pair
of hard- wired 12 minute timeouts in the Domain Master Browser
calculation
algorithm.) > > Regards, > >
