RE: 4 input video card

Let us all know how this goes as it could be a cost effective solution for me as well. I assume there is no sound though?

New toys...

Found this today while trying to find something to input my 4 video cameras fitted to the outside of the house.

Just ordered one of these as I was going to buy a video quad but this is even better. Don't know how good it is, but at the price it won't break the bank either.

I bought the card from SourceOnline for 68 quid inc postage and VAT.

The Hauppage ones seem to work ok - http://www.hauppauge.com/html/linux.htm and http://www.linuxtv.org/

  Hi all,

I'm sure this has already been covered, but does anyone have experience
of using a vide capture card / tv card under linux ?

The reason for the question being that whilst many of the TV cards all
use the same chipset, normally brooktree, which is supported under
linux, problems arise with the control of the tunner.

  Thanks

  Stuart
