Innovators no, but mass market and defacto standard yes. Don't get me wrong, I am a Linux developer but MS will do a good job and put lots of bells and whistles on and because it is Microsoft it will succeed (Stands back for religious war).

      Well thats 1 hour 15 minutes of my life lost for ever.  There were some
      interesting bits, but I couldn't help feel its all been done already... Just
      not by Microsoft.
     
      They were talking about things like mobile phones with address books that
      syncronise with Outlook... Doh whats that Motorola phone sitting on my desk
      do...
     
      Being able to play music in the living room using media files on the PC, err
