Hi Gerard, many thanks for your answers, here's a bit more
detail/questions!

>  2.) I assume the company will provide me the hardware to connect
my WORK PC to the ADSL line, is it possible to add a Vigor or
somethinglike that to the line in parallel? (I'm guessing not but
thought i'd ask)
> >Not sure why you want to do that?

I was thinking along the lines of having the work PC completely
seperate to the home network but able to see the same ADSL line, is
this possible?

> 3.) Is there any reason why I couldn't connect the work PC to my
home LAN and use the gateway from the LAN, all the software needs is
an interent connection to access the office network (Nortel VPN
software)?

> 4.) Would this affect the rest of my LAN in any Way?

except a lot faster. A VPN will happily run over it.

> 5.) The above assumes I change the domain of my home network to be
the same as work (not a huge issue) but is there a way to do it
without changing?

> > If you are using a VPN to dial into a corporate network then
there is no need to change the domain.

In order for the work PC to see the gateway does it not need to be on
the same domain/workgroup as the gateway/home network?? If that is
the case then the logical way around to change things is have the
home network renamed the same as the work one.

Cheers

Paul
