terminal service - beginners guide?

Would anybody be kind enough to write a quick how to 
guide for setting up TS on either the epod or fujitsu 
to enable me to browse my main machine (XP).  Whant to 
be able to use homeseer etc.

I've never used it before and don't know what's 
required to set up either client or host.
