Tivo Problems with ADSL

Hi,

Well my Tivo arrived from Mr Tonks the other day i've finally managed to
get
the software update to 2.5.  I'm having very werid problems with it on
my
adsl wires only install though....

Whats happening is if the Tivo is plugged directly into the adsl filter
as
soon as you plug it in the adsl router just drops the adsl line. 
Has
anybody else noticed this, is they any solutions to this?  I've found
that
changing the phone mode to not detect if the line is in use helps quite
a
bit - ie. it doesn't always disconnect the line straight away.

Any ideas would be most helpful.
