OK ... Since a lot of you are doing this then I'll give you a list of
instructions on how to do a *CLEAN* Win98/98SE install on a Point510.

1) Copy the Win98 setup/CABs directory to the Fujitsu to - say -
c:\Point510\Win98

2) Copy the original Fuji CABs directory to - say - c:\Point510\Fuji

3) Copy any network card driver installers to - say -
c:\Point510\Drivers

4) Make sure you have a keyboard plugged in and the unit running on
mains power!

5) Reboot the unit to DOS.

6) CD .. [RETURN] back to c:\

7) DELTREE Progra~1 [RETURN]

8) DELTREE MyDocu~1 [RETURN]

9) DELTREE Windows [RETURN]

10) You can now DELete all the files in the root of C:\ (including
COMMAND.COM)

11) CD Point510\Win98 [RETURN]

12) Setup [RETURN] (This will reinstate COMMAND.COM)

Once Windows 98 has been setup (you'll need to control *EVERYTHING* from
the keyboard remember) then go to "Start -> Control Panel -> Add /
Remove Programs -> Windows Components -> Have Disc".

Browse to the C:\Point510\Fuji and hit OK

Select the two items that it gives you.

Install those and then reboot.

There you go...

Phil
