Again dependent entirely on the landlord's agreement to accomodate kit
safely, perhaps it would be useful to set up some infrastructure to enable
some of this stuff to be demo'd properly...

ISTR last time it was a hard enough job just getting some decent
electrickery in the room!...

I would for instance, consider setting up a WAP11, and a laptop with
wireless card, which could then be used for demo's of numerous bits of
software, but *only* if I was assured of their safety!
