I have just looked and Gorleston ( 3 miles down the road ) is on the 100
list but Great Yarmouth isnt. However, doing the availability checker gave
me a different answer than previously.
"We are actively reviewing the next phase of roll-out and this
exchange is
part of that review.
An announcement on further broadband availability will be made at the end
of
June. "
More promising than the previous "noPlans" message.

That got my hopes up, especially with 100 exchanges being covered by this
but (no great surprise) mine isn't one of them.
BT seem to have (finally) updated the ADSL checking utility now which among
other crap reports:
"BT has no plans to upgrade your exchange in the near term."
All the neighbouring exchanges are of course enabled :(
