A bit OT but from
experience there will be someone out there with the answer!
I am looking for a GPS
receiver and mapping software for my IPAQ 3850. I know about the
Navman solution and also the Pretec CompactGPS. The Pretec has the
ability to connect an external aerial (which is useful if not mandatory for
in car use) but plugs into a CF slot so I would need a CF sleeve (I
don't have one as the IPAQ has a SD slot built in). The Navman does
not have an external aerial AFAIK but comes in its own sleeve.
Anyone any experience of
these or alternative hardware and the various software (maps)
options?
Adrian.
