On a similar off topic :)

My amp switches component video as well as svideo.  My tv has 2 rgb scarts which are both used.

Is it possible to route signals from the component video outlets on the
amp, into an RGB-enabled scart socket on the TV?  I haven't managed to=
find a cable (online) that will do component video --> RGB scart.

Any ideas?

(Y/C).=A0 Since most AV amps switch in the S-Video and/or composite video domain (not RGB), this would be the best thing.

A scart socket can carry RGB, composite=A0and S-Video - though not all at once.=A0 Obviously your AV scart on the back of your TV will have to
support S-Video (AV1 usually is RGB [plus composite] and AV2 and above
will usually be S-Video capable depending on your model)
