Chaps,

I happened to be in a branch of Comet yesterday - doing some christmas
shopping would you believe!! (sad isn't it!)

on the way out, I spotted a seriously cool looking LCD montitor on a
display, hooked up to a PS2.. I don't know *too* many details yet, - I was
on my out, and in a bit of a hurry...

It is both an AV and a PC monitor, having a SCART, D-Sub-15 VGA, and an
aerial connector (on-board tuner) it has a row of unbelievably cool buttons
along the front bottom edge of the screen - they are tiny little bumps
(like
ball-bearings) which are touch-sensitive, for the function selections. and
the thing looks the mutts nuts! - all black and shiny chrome...

I asked a passing sales droid the price, - £899 - not too bad at all! -
even
SWMBO was impressed, and I seriously think I may be able to swing one of
these next year... :-)

If this sounds like the sort of thing you might be interested in, (Phil,
you
can't afford it!!), then I suggest a trip to Comet...

Paul G.
