I think I disagree, but not enough to wire my house yet ;-)

The wired costs will be coming down as well over the next couple of
years, and for those of us willing to trail long runs of CAT5 about the
house, a "wired" solution will be both the most functional and
the
cheapest.

I agree with you very much about the security of wireless data, though.
I think that the new standards are going to give all the protection that
we require!
