If you did pre-register bfore ADSL was available, you are still entitled
to free installation.

We've had ADSL installed recently and was charged the =A3150 installation
fee. However, when I queried the Helpdesk about my pre-registration, the
person was able to look up the exact date of my registration and raised a
credit to refund the installation charge.

The reason why we've only recently had ADSL installed is because we were
judged to live too far from the exchange. But with the availability of
RADSL, our (4th) order was accepted. As it turned out, the visiting BT
engineer has confirmed from the Whoosh test that our line loss is actually
within the original ADSL limits.
