The purpose of this group is to discuss the following:

Preparation and cooking of food associated with the Indian
sub-continent (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,
Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka)
Sources and use of ingredients.
Sharing of recipes, cooking tips and practices.
Sources and use of cooking apparatus and utensils.
Discussion of restaurants which serve food associated with the
Indian sub-continent.

The above list is not exhaustive but messages to the group should be
relevant to food associated with the Indian sub-continent.

Recipes posted to this group are expected to be in the public domain.

Advertising:

Advertising is forbidden, with the following exception:

Suppliers of goods or services which are relevant to
uk.food+drink.indian, may post an invitation of four lines or fewer to
visit their web site, or to request details from them, not more than
once every three months. The subject line should begin "ADVERT:"

Binaries & Formatting:

etc.) is forbidden. A URL to such material on a web site may be
