I suppose it gives me an excuse to recable the RF side of the house ...
anyone got any suggestions for a source of good quality heavily screened RF
lead?

*chuckle* I wasn't built for climbing ladders ... gravity seems to insist
that parts of me remain firmly planted on strong horizontal surfaces!

I've seen the work you did on Ian's electrics under the stairs ... very
