Might
try out a couple of PSUs on my One For All IR extender as my receiver is
doing
something similar!

More
likely a dried out capacitor causing unsmoothed DC to upset the electronics
in
the power mid.

Unbelievable - it's the 12v PSU of the main unit
that
was causing the interference - how weird !
I shall be swiftly making a warranty claim.

If these units are
anything like the powermid ones I had mega problems with them when the
wife was hoovering... the light (receiver) would flash constantly and
no
other signals would get through....
I know it doesn't help much
but It may just be something as simple as that, hoover, lawnmower, one
of those puky little mopeds...
