This has a really cool application also...
You can store your PGP keys on it.
Quite a simple thing to configure a laptop so that it's dial-up interface
uses PGPNet to encrypt all traffic to your private network, but the usual
hassle is that the PGP Keys then live on your laptop, and are open to
potential attack.
(PGPNet keys do not rely on a passphrase)
if you store the PGPNet Keys on one of these little USB Pen things, then
configure the software to look for them, you have a rather neat Secure VPN
solution. :)

Sounds exactly like the "pen-drive" that Scan has in.
Was on today only.....64mb was £69+vat, 256mb version was £199+vat
Look very useful, but seems the memory is the expensive part, as the
cheapest 16mb version is only £26.50 so that means the memory is
being charged somewhere along the lines of £170 for 256mb.....bear in
mind that this in PC133 factor is now sub £20, so a lot of money for
making it small enough to fit.
I'm going to wait a month or so, as I think the prices will plummet,
but will get one, as this would hold ALL the personal files I need
and then some without lumping around a laptop. I like....a lot
Regards
Geraint.
