Strange thing has happened.
Set the video for F1 Sunday morning -
all was OK. Came home about 4pm, try to start to watch - and my IR extender
wont work !
No, I have 2 x One4All IR Extender kits
- been using the 1 unit for over a year quite happily, and the new one for
a few months. All works on the same frequency.
Now, you can see the red light on the
receiver flashing (so it is getting something) , and i've swapped all the
units round to make sure one of them wasn't faulty - all seems fine. But,
when I stick a remote in the cabinet to do it direct, it seems as though
the IR extender maybe picking up something else as tho there is
interference (it's a RF transmission system) - if I hold down the Sky
channel select, it's jitters.
So, I think something has started
broadcasting and is now knocking out my IR system ! I'm buggered...
I've no idea what frequency these things
broadcast on - anyone got any bright ideas ? I've asked the immediate
neighbours - they reckon they've got nothing.
