RE: DDAR Speakers

Brian,

For what its worth I picked up a pair of gale silver monitors from richer
sounds yesterday for my ddar. For a 100 squids they were a bit expensive
but they are very sensitive which is useful with a low power amp as in the
ddar. To my ears this combo is very good indeed and more than adequate for
my bedroom. Having tested a range of music on them its sounds punchy and
there is a nice clear soundstage.

Maybe it would be worth you trying them out.

Thanks
Kieran

Hi Phil, I have not heard any of these speakers so I do not know what they
will sound like ;-) I just need some informed advice as to where is a good
place to start!

I know you are "genned up" in these sort of things, OK put it
another way,
what would you buy for your DDAR's?

There that has sloped shouldered the question........

Cheers Phil,

B.
