RE: OT: THX

Don't know, I think its the STRDB1070, this is the description, and it sounds about right...

Top-end QS range 6.1 channel amplifier 6 x 100W output, SACD multi-channel input, Digital Cinema Sound, RDS tuner

On-screen display, 3x optical/1x coaxial inputs, learning remote control

This thing doesn't know the meaning of distort... the house will distort before this does! :-)

Hi All,

I know there are some home cinema buffs around on this list, a friend
of mine has just spent more than I earn in a month on a lovely set of
Sony surround sound speakers and an amp which is generally considered
to be the dogs preverbials... never mind 5.1... this is 6.1!

We are trying to find some good films to really test out the sound
quality - something possibly THX approved?

Thanks

Paul
