I have to say that I want to see some very harsh retaliation against those that shield these terrorists. I agree that killing the terrorist makes them a martyr but massive strikes and sanctions against the countries that protect them might be effective.

Having said that, at the moment I'm very much in support of the "bomb the b*st*rds" mentality but I know that's only a knee-jerk reaction to it all.>>
 
I also want to see the hijacking of planes being made impossible. Surely it is not beyond us to prevent a terrorist from gaining the controls of a passenger jet, even if it means locking the cabin door from the inside for the entire flight.
 
<<Are you serious? I thought they already did! I had assumed - obviously wrongly - that the flight deck of an aircraft was locked during a flight. >>
