I got a bunch of these when I was over in the US.
Laser here were able to sell me a modified RF receiver that works on the US
frequencies and runs off 240V.
As I am sure you are aware, the devices are not CE approved, so whilst they
'work' in this country, they should not be used...

Guys
I may have a need to buy about 10 of these things. To get these in UK spec
would cost about £350, against £120 (+ shipping, + RF receiver) from the
States.
So my question is, is there anything stopping me from buying this kit from
the
States, and plugging the RF receiver into a transformer? I'm not sure
whether
the X10 signal will get through the transformer. Also (this is probably a
very
stupid question), could an existing UK RF Receiver be 'de-tuned' to the US
frequency?
