Not really, it takes time to acquire a fantastic USA aircraft rip out their
engines and fit our own versions and then re-write the flight manual and
get
the Americans to teach our crew's how to fly/play with it and produce
instructors to teach others.

This version is actually made by GKN Westland, hence the WAH- bit, Westland
Attack Helicopter. it has "very advanced surveillance capability
inherent in
the Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR) and Radar Frequency Interferometer
(RFI).
Bet you can't guess I just read that bit? aint got a clue what it means but
that what it says!

There are a few differences due to requirements and weather conditions in
the UK, oh and I nearly forgot, misinformation to the general public!

Also remember the Gulf war was back in 1991 and used the A-Models.

I still think it is sex on wheels!

B.

hmmm,

I thought it was an Apache Longbow that the man with the nice uniform and
short hair shooed me away from at Farnborough a couple of years ago.

I take it this is the even newer shinier version?

Ian.
