Morning all

I am considering taking the plunge and buying a digital camera.

The model I am looking at is a Kodak DX3600 (Found this for =A3299 on=20
www.digitalfirst.co.uk if anyone is interested)

It is described as having 2x optical zoom and 3x digital... now the=20
optical zoom bit I understand, but the digital...

Will this be viewable when I take the picture (presumably only on the=20
LCD not through the viewfinder?) (by my calcs this will should allow=20
me to have a focal length of 210mm - lens is 35mm) - the same as my=20
SLR.

and will this be noticeably different in the quality?

Anything else I should be looking out for?=20

Thanks for the patience.

Daniel
