It's probably worth adding a few things like:

When a thread drifts off to a different discussion, change the subject line
to a new subject to differentiate it as a new thread...

as well..

Trouble is, it needs to be kept short and sweet, otherwise no-one will
bother reading it, much less remember it all! - but, I promise that I will
print out the page and stick it on the wall near my monitor as a constant
reminder...
