OK just another couple of words on this subject then I will shut up...

A number of the people on this group belong to various clubs, model
aircraft
clubs being one example.

Do people who attend these clubs talk about nothing but model aircraft? I
think not.

This groups has often been referred to as a club or even more a community,
as
such the majority of topics should be HA or HA related. However trying to
keep it as only HA means it becomes a support list and not a community. For
example where would we be without Phil's Bargain Watch, I for one would
have
spent a hot uncomfortable summer without my Homebase AC Units, but it
doesn't
really have much to do with HA.

So the question is do we want a pure HA support list or a community which
has
a strong common interest in HA. I think the community is a much more robust
and helpful concept. The various meets would be much less fun if we only
spoke about HA.

I don't read every thread on this list and I just delete the things I am
not
interested in. For people who can't find the delete key it is just to the
right of the return key.

Sorry for the slight rant and this is more like £2.00 rather than £.02 but
I
really like the sense of community we have and it would be a shame to lose
it.

Cheers
Mick
