Hi

I rang bt yesterday to enquire about a line and ADSL at the new house and what notice they wanted for the order.

Apparently they can not install both together but instead have to install a normal line then test for ADSL and if OK install ADSL nine days later. I mentioned that if ADSL did not work that I would not want a normal line but a Highway line, were by I was told that I could then upgrade the line to HH. Only after speaking to a supervisor was it agreed that they would probably allow a discount on the first line install !

What ADSL ISP's would anyone recommend or should I return to BT (If they let me !).

If anyone was wondering I am still waiting for the building company to get back to me. It is being referred to the MD who is not back from his Hols until tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

For the food freaks out there, I found out today that the local "Hooters" now do curly fries with a cheesy sauce topping, if that doesn't tempt anyone this far upt North for a wiring party I don't know what will !!!! :-)
