Guy's, a little OT but I have a rack mounted Compaq Proliant which slides
onto the rack on Dexion angle iron, like you do!

The reason for this is, I do not have the runners that come as part of the
"country kit" as the rails are obscenely expensive, mind you the
servers are
bloody heavy!

To the point, yesterday I went to a local shop "Peter Crisp in
Rushden" and
bought a pair of heavy-duty sliding rails the same size as the Compaq
items,
they cost £14.25 per pair and after a few hours with a drill I now have my
server rack mounted on runners so now I can pull it out to remove the
covers
without having to unplug everything to remove it completely from the rack!

Job done!

I am also going to fit the Maplin cases on runners next.

Got what I wanted without paying Compaq hideous amounts.

B.
