Some was to be square section with the clip on top for internal cables
running through cupboards (round would also be fine but we need to keep as
much cabling hidden rather than conduited to surfaces plus it saves us
buying the bending springs for the round stuff too) but to take the cables
from first to ground floor outside we were going to use the rectangular
section vent tubing as that will take the number of cables required (sealed
of course to prevent water getting in).

One thing that we also do need to do is run mains supplies up into the
loft.
