James,
The walls are, alas, plasterboard AND mainly decorated according to Mrs.
Harrison's requirements in the last 12 months ;-( The "electronic
bits"
are purchased. As is some of the conduit.
Phil "the project manager" Harris came round, and we've planned
lots of
routes. Some of the runs are going to go on the outside of the house -
Mary, Phil and I had a LONG conversation about this, and in the end, it
was what Mary wanted.
I think that, sophisticated drilling tools aside, we have all the stuff
we need to make a good start. The only thing to purchase, rather than
blag for the day, is more conduiting 'cos my local B&Q had run out ;-)

Sounds good to me.
What sort of wall construction do you have, and does Mrs Harrison want
an
excuse to redecorate? Also, we'll need to put together a shopping list
-
will need sundry things like back boxes, conduit,
plaster/bonding/fillers
etc.
