Phil,

Thanks. This confirms my suspicions. It's not the VCR-type sources that
are the issue, but ones like HomeVision and the (coming soom) X-Cams
that will output composite.

As long as I know, then it's OK. I'll simply rig up the Pronto to input
on Scart instead, and run a composite->SCART cable.

As far as I'm aware the 562V doesn't transcode between S-Video and
Composite
(or vice versa) ... I had the same "problem" with my DSP-A1 as I
was
running
DVD and LD as S-Video and the VCR was composite.

To get round it I bought an S-VHS VCR (which hence could connect as an
S-Video source) and the "problem" was solved.
