Yup, simple as that.  I've got a full version of CuteFTP, and a few other
bits and pieces, but IE is so much simpler.  Tap in the address (can be
saved as favorite), and go.  If you need a username/password it'll prompt
you when it fails anon, or you can use ftp://username@xxxxxxx
