Only works if you have a machine with the right MAPI profile on it!
What I _actually_ need is a utility that walks round the cookie
dependance (which is how the OST offline-security model works). In
practice, the tools that do this tend to be OST -> PST convertors, on
the basis that that's a useful thing to do with a "recovered"
OST.

You don't need any "utility" other than the outlook client, this
is a
stndard disaster recovery technique in case of a mailbox having been
deleted
from the server...
First off, MAKE CERTAIN that the client does not connect to the server
until
the following is complete...
Add an instance of the "Personal Folders" information service to
the
profile, and point it to a new PST file.
Start up the client OFFLINE
simply drag & drop the contents from the OST to the new PST...
viola!
