Look like they fit my requirements exactly though, thanks!  Do they look white or chromed to anyone else?
 
The AV Signal Room outlet wallplate below it though...I guess you could use this to connect coax??

however I take your point, from the underside they do not look like they would take the full length.

They look like binding posts, which are fine. Banana sockets are deeper.

That'll explain why I couldn't find them on letsautomate!  I guess you
can
still get binding post connectors without banana connectors??  Any idea
where I can get these from?
