Erm ... do I keep quiet or do I remind you I'm a complete convert to using
Autoroute 2001 on the laptop in the car with an eTrex GPS receiver? [For a
while I had several units here whilst I worked out which was appropriate
for
my needs.] I even went and bought not only the cigarette lighter
power/serial cable for it but also the cigarette lighter PSU for the laptop
too. (And then a four way 12v distribution block as there is only one
lighter socket in mine or SWMBOs cars!)

SWMBO loves it ... admits that she couldn't use it to drive by (but then
again if we drive anywhere further than 10 miles she has me drive anyway as
she hates driving) but happily has the laptop down by her feet whilst we're
going places. She pulls it out and has a go with it whenever I ask her to.
