I fully agree that English can get wacky.

Having said that, I cant agree that it is "Interesting".
Interesting things
are enjoyable, English grammar is not enjoyable :-(

As I said yesterday, I find it difficult to understand correctly written
english some of the time and as for the garbage that people write when
using
SMS messaging, I have no chance!

Give me technical stuff anyday :-)

I guess my lack of understanding of English is why I didnt have any luck
with French either. I used to escape from PE (which explains why I am a fat
bloke) by operating the slide projector and tape recorder for the French
classes. I effectively did second year French ( or whatever year they now
apply to 12-13 yearolds now) four times and the only bit I can remember is
"Listen and Repeat". I would have written it in french but I cant
remember
how to spell it!
