You could stick it on the back of a pc (via a com port adapter from
www.ibutton.com ) and use it as as an HA controller.

I suspect a few people will be connecting it to TINI boards for similar
purposes (www.ibutton.com again).

I will probably spend a couple of days on some project (when my TINI board
arrives) before getting bored and leaving the whole lot unfinished in a
drawer!!
