Be carefull - if you don't have to then now is *NOT* a good time to be
after
a job.

I've been off work now for nearly four months and it's damn hard to find
something else. Ian B's in the same boat as me as is Graham Howe (he's been
off work for ages). There are others on the group too who are just in the
process of being canned. One of SWMBO's cousins works with a recruitment
agency every so often and he was saying that at the moment there are about
four times more people than would be usual for this time of year chasing
about a quarter of the usual number of jobs.

Sit tight if you can and try to ride it out ... a job that sucks is still a
job!
