Re: WinTV-PVR
I have the WinTV PVR USB
This works very well, it has antennae & video inputs & i have
'recorded' a
few video recordings onto my computer - the quality at VCD level is fairly
good & you have the option to record at higher bitrates.
The 'recording' does take about 10 seconds to fire up when the button is
pressed & there is also about1 1 second delay in the decoding time.
The only real problem is a very slight, but annoying distortion of sound at
high frequencies - adjusting any of my desktop audio properties does not
seem to help. The problem seems to be with th unit itself as it occurs with
both TV & VCR recordings.
All in all it's acceptable but not perfect
