I've done 4 installations over the last 3 years, and had interference
problems only on one of them (which was close to Northolt Airport.)

In that one, the problem was fixed by installing directional aerials
rather than the "wire" aerials originally specified.

Does anybody on the list know how often Wireless LAN installers
have problems due to interference?

I saw a mail yesterday where an installer couldn't get the
installation to function on site due to some unidentifiable
interference. (It worked OK off site)
He was looking for someone with a spectrum analyser to see if
they could locate/identify the source of the interference.

It occurred to me that there might be a niche to be filled by
providing an RF site survey facility?
