Just found this...

.... which identifies a use as I listed under "1 of 16" control,
that
of selecting which camera is powered up. I still think a small switch
to choose between
"Off with <mycode> OFF"
"Off with <any_other_myhousecode> ON"
would greatly enhance the appeal.
