Title: It's Phil's Fault!
Given the recent price drop of a PS2 it is something of a "bargain" now...

GT3 really is superb though. Want to try to get hold of SSX Snowboarding at some point and would like to see what the latest version of Ridge Racer is like .... there appear to be some fairly mindless "just race around city streets" type of car games on the PS2 which could be fun. Can't be ars*d to try to work my way through the ranks on GT3 - I just like the racing sim side of it!

Well, I went and bought a PS2 after Phil and another friend was raving about it, I was going to wait ad see what the script was with X-Box but I have a terrible cold, wanted something to do and the PS2 seemed the perfect remedy. Nothing quite has the same impact as GT3 on a six foot screen J

To be fair, Phil’s right, you get a rather good games machine with a DVD player (multi-region for £30 ;-)) and a spare CD transport for £200, that really can’t be a bad deal can it? One could even call it a bargain J

But when SWMBO came home last night it was Phils idea seemed an appropriate response J
