Hello,
I'm new to this group. Main HA interests are audio (+ a bit of AV)
distribution over Cat5. Have been trying out Keith Doxey's KAT5
modules with pleasing results (and will probably need some audio
specific ones, cost permitting...) but I'm unsure about direction to
go wrt IR distribution. At this stage all I really want to do is to
be able to take my hifi remote into one of 3 or 4 different rooms &
control it from there. I'd prefer to use CAT5 rather than radio.
I'm sure its not rocket science, what solutions are out there? I'm
happy to put together simple circuitry myself if thats what it takes.
Any advice, pointers appreciated.
