Brian,
do you have some sort of DHCP server on your LAN?
I have had similar trouble while running Win Route. It was assigning an
address to the DDAR rather than the DDAR software itself. What I had to do
was disable DHCP, plug the DDAR back in (so it got its address from the
correct software), then re-enable Win Route.
