Title: A strangley totally on-topic post! :-)
Strange one of my two DDAR's is plugged in close to my powerline driver and have seen no ill effects.

Brian,

DDAR's are known to interfere with X10 :-(
Took me a while to figure out why my IR -> X10 thing stopped working. When I moved it to another power outlet it was ok.

I am glad I am not the only one having these sort of problems.

I have a macro that switches the HiFi off and various lights on etc for when I go to bed but recently the lights are very intermittent from the macro, they work from the HR10 remote but not HV.

Also in the morning I turn the HiFi (announcement) on but this has stopped working by remote although HV reports it as being ON! and switching it on via HV works!

All this has only recently happened mostly since I installed the two DDAR's, I'm confused!

You would not want to run a life-support unit via X-10 would you?

I have a couple of modules in the kitchen that somehow seem intermittent and fussy about working.

Now for the strange bit, they worked fine for months, no problems, I have not changed anything at all electrically and this just started! No new appliances, no new devices, they just plain got weird on me. Im in a detached house with my own supply from the main line so I doubt that it could be interference, even at that I’m sure it would interfere with more than just this.

Three modules on two different house codes, all appliance modules refuse to work from an HR10 and from commands from HVwell sometimes anyway. Everything else in the house appears to be working just fine thats the really strange bit.

Ive just noticed that another couple of modules may be playing the same trick although I’m not sure yet.

Any ideas cause at this point I’m stumped?

K.
