You dont need any software to make a
connection (with any version of Windows). Just the built in stuff.

The other question - does it work with
Windows 2000. The FAQ says "dial
tech support on...", but that number's barred from my phone.

Several people in my office are now using V21 http://www.v21.co.uk/
as their ISP. Anyone here tried it ?
Initial reports in the office seem to indicate that the service is
reliable.
